We owned and operated Dan's Suzuki in Marmora for the past 24 years.
I have been a Real Estate agent now for almost 4 years, hard to believe! I never thought it would be this rewarding. It's not only helping my clients with buying or selling, it's much, much more then that.
Dan and I support the car club here in Marmora. Every Thursday night from the middle of June till the middle of September there is a car show on the main street. Sometimes there is live entertainment and always a huge crowd. There are door prizes for children, door prizes for the drivers, 50/50 draw, draw for a die cast car and a trophy for 1 special car. In August they have a free corn roast. Always good music and fun to be had. Come on out and enjoy!
HISTORY OF MADOC
Madoc is a township in Eastern Ontario, Canada, in Hastings County.
The township was named after legendary Welsh prince Madoc ap Owain Gwynedd, credited by some with discovering North America in 1170. There exists an alternative explanation, namely that the name comes from a small Welsh village, Llanmadoc on the Gower Peninsula of Wales, not far from the city of Swansea, which is in turn named for a place called Médoc in Bordeaux, France.
